Information for professionals

You can contact us if you support women* who are affected by domestic violence.

Criteria for registration are:

  • Victim to domestic violence and the concomitant, arrived or threatened homelessness
  • All required application documents have been submitted:

    • internal asap e.V. documents
    • Identity documents, residence permit if applicable
    • valid Wohnberechtigungsschein (WBS) with all pages
    • Current rental debt exemption certificate
    • current credit bureau information (max. 3 months)
    • Proof of income from the last three months (pay slip, job centre notice, proof of benefits from the social welfare office, maintenance, pension, etc.)
  • Socio-educational connection (women’s shelter, refuge apartment, carrier housing or specialist counselling centre)
  • Registration is only possible when the documents have been collected.
  • Admission to the protected market segment (M-Schein) is only possible through us or one of the district offices of the GMS

Steps to sign up

The social workers of the women’s shelters, shelters, carrier apartments and specialist counselling centres can request the internal application documents of asap e.V. housing agency by e-mail oder telephone.

  • Send us all application documents in readable via email
  • After receipt of the documents, a detailed telephone registration interview takes place with the responsible social worker.
  • The employees* of asap e.V.-Wohnungsvermittlung carry out a case-specific examination of the special admission criteria.
  • In cooperation with the social workers of the specialist units, it is also determined whether the client fulfils all the conditions for inclusion in the Protected market segment.
  • Together with the social workers of the specialist offices, the next steps for finding accommodation will be discussed.
